A crack team of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, August 6, 2015 arrested one Kato Ifrahimu Nyam and Godwin Odali, both staff of a new generation bank for conspiring to defraud the bank to the tune of N3.6bn (three billion, six million naira) with an e-payment mandate purportedly from Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Former Most Beautiful girl in Nigeria Anna Ebiere Banner has welcomed a child with her lover Flavour.

Flavour also has a daughter with his other girlfriend, former Delta Soap queen Sandra Okagbue, their daughter will celebrate her first birthday next month.

Rapper The Game came for Amber Rose after the reality star defended the woman who accused him of sexual assault. The woman, Priscilla Rainey, slapped The Game with a $10m lawsuit claiming she was sexually assaulted during the filming of his reality show 'She Got Game'.

The whole drama started after Baller Alert questioned Priscilla's motives, saying she had a long criminal history and that she continued to promote the reality show on her social media accounts months after the alleged sexual abuse happened. Photo: NASA's Rover spots mysterious being looking out into space from MARS

A mysterious 'dark lady' has been spotted looking out into space from the surface of Mars. The eerie shape was taken by the NASA' Curiosity Rover, the robot exploring a crater on the red planet. UFO Sightings Daily says the shape is proof that there is 'life out there'. The website has come up with a description of what the dark shape is, claiming it is definitely a woman because her breasts are visible, apparently.

A reckless truck driver lost control while driving along Adah George road in Port Harcourt this morning, and rammed into a stationary Lexus SUV. Fortunately no life was lost but the car was destroyed. More photo after the cut...

F1 legend Michael Schumacher and his wife Corinna, are marking their 20th wedding anniversary today August 6th...and it's the saddest one yet for the mother of two. The condition of the sporting legend is currently unknown following a horrific skiing accident in December 2013 that left him in a coma for six months. He's since gone to his family home to recover since leaving a hospital in the French Alps.

Corinna, also 46, is rarely seen in public these days. Happy anniversary to them.

Nigerian troops, Boko Haram members in gun battle in Yobe

Nigerian soldiers and Boko Haram members are currently engaging in a gun battle after the sect members attempted to capture Gandaka community in Yobe state yesterday night. Three fighter jets have been deployed to engage the sect members who arrived the community in a large number.

Lagos Police Command arrests 2 policemen for assault on LASTMA officials

The Lagos state police command yesterday 5th August, averted what would have been a major civil disturbance at Iyana-Oba bus stop through the timely intervention of the Area Commander in charge of the axis.

Trouble started when a Policeman from Ojo Division, who was said to be in pursuit of a suspected felon, in an attempt to demobilize the vehicle, fired at the tyre of the fleeing car. Unfortunately, the bullet brushed through the arm of a passerby, causing instant tension & anger among some onlookers.
